CD-i member Stephen Trigg asks us: "Did Crimson Ghost ever get a official release? I saw a high seas version on some dodgy site a few years back with Voyeur 2 and Christmas Crisis to download. The site claims they where supposedly prototypes and where never officially released. I did see Voyeur 2 turn up on EBay as a BIN. The cover looked genuine but you never know."Jack Sprite vs The Crimson Ghost remained a prototype, but US publisher Oldergames snagged it first to release a CDR version, probably not truely legal, but it was the closest to a release. This was 2002, by the way. Voyeur 2 surfaced a lot later, and also was never released on CD-i, but like many CD-i projects, it was actually finished. All copies you see for sale are CDR re-productions of these prototypes.
