CD-i member Andy AVAV Systems shared a couple of slides of the first CD-i Magazine, published and issued by Philips itself. Andy: "This is Issue One CD-i Magazine , a Philips Advertorial on the features of CD-Interactive. It offers a list of release titles, Educational, Games, Hardware, inc CDi 205 & Portable Unit. The article on FMV cunningly mentions “YOU can decide when to add this new feature” - naughty Philips" - In The Netherlands, HUB Published the dutch CD-i magazine between 1994 and 1997. Of course, in 1994, The Philips CD-i was already on the market for two years in Europe.

The time before that, Philips published their own CD-i magazine that was bundled with the CD-i catalogue and sent to every owner of a CD-i player (at least, if you registered and sent back the card that was inside your CD-i player (all free of charge). The magazines looked like this (scans courtesy of CD-i member Jaco van Schie). The artwork on the cover is very nice and it is a totally different style as what HUB put on their covers. I really like these covers, all related to a specific CD-i title and in a very high resolution as well. There are also some unknown announcements inside, like the one of Angels and Demons.
