Another interesting early CD-i prototype, probably from before the official introduction of CD-i. At the moment not a lot more is known, but as it is in the possession of one of us and thanks to the preservation efforts of quite some CD-i members lately, things might change in the future. The fact it is a 'Japan New Media Systems Test Disc' of course suspects this is about testing the CD-i standard in Japan. These early CD-i discs are sometimes not even fully in accordance with the Green Book standard yet, so they possibly won't even play in the regular consumer CD-i players.
