Another rare Encyclopedia from Larousse, this was a Spanish exclusive CD-i published in 1995. Larousse published various encyclopedias on CD-ROM but as far as we know this is the first version on CD-i. Fully named 'Larousse Multimedia Diccionario Enciclopidico', this disc featured digital video as well. There was also a 'Disco Demostración' (a demonstration disc version) used for promotion, thanks to Alan we can now have a look at it.
At Interactive Dreams we discussed several regional releases on CD-i
before; CD-i titles which were only released in one country. And you
probably know I especially like
the encyclopedias released on CD-i. Before, I only knew of the Dutch, German, French and US version, but we discovered the exclusive Spanish CD-i
software last year too including another full CD-i encyclopedia (Salvat) in the Spanish language. ALso Italy has some exclusive encyclopedias, including the Grolier version which also appeared on some releaselists of USA, but an English version of this was never released on CD-i.
