At Interactive Dreams we try to have complete lists of all the CD-i titles that were available. A couple of these master lists are available here. CD-i member Blazers commented before on it: It is virtually impossible to have complete CD-i lists as still in 2021, new unknown CD-i titles pops up. Especially in the field of professional CD-i titles there is yet a lot to uncover. Most of these CD-i titles are nowhere catalogued or available. It crossed our minds before to create spreadsheets to lay down every possible catalogue number of each country, but that would be an enormous amount of work, we don't have the time for that. But thankfully, CD-i member Landcross actually just did this: He created a great list of the different CD-i catalogue codes including the titles that are known. It is a great reference list (at least for us) to uncover all CD-i projects. Landcross: "pretty much everything that's in the lists is verified (either from pictures or from Redump, which is where I originate from :P) or comes from trusted sources. That's also why I once started the list (and why there's that column with 'dumped') because I tried to make a list of discs missing from Redump. But it just kinda ended up being a generic list too."
CD-i member Retrostuff spots right away new contributions, which shows the beauty of this way of reporting (you immediately see all open lines): "A huge problem is the creative use of catalogue numbers. For example, look at these two German releases: -Bertelsmann Universallexikon (4 catalogue numbers):
- Catalogue number (box): 813 0136
- Catalogue number (jewel case): 813 0137
- Catalogue number (disc 1 - "mit DVC"): 813 0135
- Catalogue number (disc 2 - "ohne DVC"): 813 0114
The 7th Guest (3 catalogue numbers that have been re-used for the V2.xx bugfix release):"
- Catalogue number (jewel case): 813 0105
- Catalogue number (disc 1 "Das Spiel"): 813 0116
- Catalogue number (disc 2 "Die Musik"): 813 0117
We agree with Retrostuff on this: "we definitely need a real database to overcome the limitations of lists or blog plug-ins."
[Thanks, Landcross. Retrostuff, Blazers]
