Cinemaware was a famous Amiga producer and a core part of Cinemaware was taken over by Philips to form a development team with the name 'Point of View'. Simply called Philips POV. One of their first CD-i games was a conversion of their own Lords of the Rising Sun, a real-time strategy game on CD-i, you wouldn't actually believe it's suitable best on CD-i, but it plays well, according to this video review. I really have to give it another try. It has a far better video compression and overall looked very similar to the Amiga version.
