Do you consider 'Link: Faces of Evil' and Zelda: Wand of Gamelon' on CD-i 'bad' games? Why is that?

I always wonder how you can say something like that. In the perspective of CD-i, especially considering the games that came out in 1993, I think these Link/Zelda games are pretty nice. The world is huge, the characters are pretty creative. Well, the animation technques are sub-par, but I learnt that Philips pushed CD-i projects to include FMV elements, even in the pre-DVC era. It was meant to be a game-changer. I'm not a fan of these techniques that we've seen in many CD-i titles, like the Tim & Bear titles, Mutant Rampage, Hotel Mario, it's not a coincidence they all use the same cutscene animation technique. But, next to that, the fighting elements and exploration are actually pretty nice, especially considering what's possible on CD-i. The only thing I experience why many people keep saying these games are 'bad' (without explanation) is that they expect Nintendo quality, as these games are true Zelda/Link games. Without the Nintendo/Zelda stamp on them, you'd judge these titles a lot different, noticing the great evolution when you compare them to other resembling titles like Laser Lords. Or am I wrong?
