Earlier this year we showed you a first view on the TaliLaser TL-2000 CD-i player, which was a OEM model of the Philips CD-i 470 player. This was the first Arabian CD-i player that we came across. The brand TaliLaser was some months after that found with another unknown CD-i player by the unknown brand 'Knowlogy'. The TL-2000 was announced as a 'Multimedia Interactive Laser Disc Driver', or that might be supposed to be something that was aboard on this new tech CD-i player. Much is unknown about the 'how' and 'why', we can't even figure out what kind of company TaliLaser actually was. When you google the name you'll find more references to fashion and beauty, so perhaps it was not a dedicated electronics company anyway! Knowlogy was a venture with TaliLaser to bring CD-i to the professional Arabian market, they also marketed the Talilaser CD-i player. Thanks to Steep we found these a while back. In these pictures we can have a close look at the TaliLaser TL-2000 player.

[Thanks, CD-i member Rasmi]
