Does the Philips CD-i Programmer's Book actually exist?

 

Recently CD-i member Retrostuff showed us his copy of the CD-i production book, one of the three (four) that are available in this series. Inside, the book is referring to the CD-i's Programmer's Handbook. Does it actually exist? Retrostuff: "I've seen it mentioned as part 4 of the series in a couple of places. But there is no ISBN or proof that it actually was published. "At present there are four planned books in the series - at the time of writing The CD-i Programmer's Handbook has not been released but is scheduled for publication later this year. Undoubtedly, as CD-i takes offt here will be scope for extending the series, perhaps with titles such as CD-i in the Classroom or CD-i and Higher Education." Philips facilitated the publishing of several books about the CD-i format. Next to "Introducing CD-i", there was also "The CD-i Design Book" and "The CD-i Production Handbook" - All three valuable publications about CD-i.
