The various Olympics during the days of CD-i also brought some CD-i's to the market about sports, health and information, like the 'Atlanta' CD-i celebrating the olympics of 1996 in Atlanta, USA. Also in this year, the dutch committee of the Olympics, NOC*NSF, issued a health CD-i (Dutch exclusive) specifically aimed at people aged 55 or above. It is to encourage these people to move, exercise and spread the importance of sports. It was developed by Case Interactive in 1996. It offers examples of exercises, daily schedules and tips what people can do to stay fit and healthy, including tips about food and how to stay healthy when you have for example a chronical disease. This is 'Nederland in Beweging!'
When you count all compatible CD-i discs, including all video-cd's, CD-i bridge titles and CD-i Rainbow formats, there are thousands of discs to collect. Even today, after 20 years of CD-i researching, there are unknown CD-i titles popping up. As the CD-i community discovers so many titles lately, we are passing by all of them in a new series of chronicles on Interactive Dreams: The Rare CD-i Records.
