The 1997 CD-i game 'Labyrinth of Crete' might well be the very final CD-i game that received a full translated version in a different language: Philips Media released 'Labyrinth von Kreta' also in 1997, while, as on the english version, the credits on the disc claim it was released in 1995. Recently the covers of the german version became available thanks to Seven on Archive.org, and with this we can compare both versions.
First interesting detail is that the german version does not have a copyright year on the back cover, while the multi-language version clearly sais 'Copyright 1997 Philips Media', the german version simply sais 'Copyright Philips Media' - This is the very first CD-i disc by Philips Media that does not give away the year of the copyright!
Next to that, some notifications are removed. The german version does not say it needs a Digital Video Cartridge, while the english version clearly has a red label on it. The same counts for the recommendation to use the touchpad: It is absent on the german version.
Perhaps the most remarkable difference is the design of the disc itself. The english version comes on a plane disc with black print. The german disc, however, is full-color, with a full design on the whole disc! Both discs say '1995' on it. Typical changes...
