CD-i member LuigiBlood has been working together with CD-i member Dopply on the remastered versions of Link: Faces of Evil and Zelda: Wand of Ganmelon. The end products are very nice homebrew CD-i projects and the games really benefit from the remastering. On top of that, we can play them on PC which is, regarding the current state of CD-i emulation, a new highlight. The originals which were used as a base for Dopply's versions were the english dubbed versions including english text. As we know, these games have been fully translation (text+speech) in the dutch language as well, but also in the french and german versions. All these versions have their own language specific text and speech. It is a matter of swapping the game code to get remastered versions of other language versions as well. I say that pretty easy, but CD-i member LuigiBlood actually did just that and presentes us today with the French version of the remastered Link: Faces of Evil + Zelda: Wand of Gamelon edition, which you can download here:
LuigiBlood: "I present you the Zelda CD-i Remastered version - Mod Version Française. The cinematics & subtitles are in French, the menu and the help system are specially translated into French for the occasion. "

"There are still things in English in this French version, sometimes there is text that pops up. I just did a quick test and translation, so my apologies if there are some english parts left. I would have to recode certain parts for that which for now costs too much time. What I would like the most is to adapt the "A MONTH LATER" screen in the intro of Zelda: Wand of Gamelon! "
