The attention to the news that an amateur developer has made re-imagined remastered versions of Link: Faces of Evil and Zelda: Wand of Gamelon is overwhelming and the news has even been picked up by sites like Eurogamer and NintendoLife. CD-i member Dopply shared the links on his Google Drive but due to safety he pulled them down. Thankfully there are alternatives available now, see below. CD-i member Dopply: "Gotta say, it feels surreal to have so many people and places I've been fans of for a while like my release. Well maybe not "like". More like bewildered by its existence lmao. The attention I've received has been pretty overwhelming - I'm floored by the positive impressions.
However, I'd like to stress this is a free, not-for-profit endeavor, and mostly a learning exercise for me. As such, I'll be removing the game from download. I thank everyone for the support and kind words. I do this of my own volition. Please look forward to my future projects! I have pulled the games from download. I have not received any formal notice, I pulling them early as a good-faith gesture. Thanks to everyone who has sent kind words, I really appreciate it. The attention has been a little overwhelming so I'm going to lock down tweets for now. I'll re-open when things calm down."
