Silent in the background, something really awesome is happening in our CD-i Community. The times that closed sources offer CD-i covers and images with huge watermarks seems to be over with the great contributions of Redump.org and Archive.org to the CD-i platform in 2020. By far the best CD-i cover project is shaping up here, thanks to the enormous contribution of CD-i members including Blazers, Seven, Dizzy and the others behind it. Also check out the Preserve CD-i Blog for continuous news about the project.
CD-i member Blazers is offering his collection to the team to preserve his CD-i material. In the coming weeks we'll be picking our favourites out of it to highlight them through the site, with a lot of love to CD-i and a true community to preserve CD-i and keep the format alive. I think this is the best CD-i news we got in 2020, thank you so much!
It's also a huge delight considering the troubles we experienced about 'credits' (which are false, but you all know). I'm so happy this is happening!
The future is looking bright for CD-i!
