The team who converted The 7th Guest on CD-i was based in Dorking, UK. From the same studio comes 'Face Kitchen', a kids CD-i title that gives you the tools to create many different kind of faces with the help of everything that is available in the kitchen of Uby.

CD-i member BrianBBunny elaborates: "It's no surprise that Keith Scoble and the Cosgrove Hall team actually designed a rare (and creepy as heck!) Phillips CD-i game called "Face Kitchen" in 1992. In it, you basically just make different kinds of faces with the aid of Uby the French chef (voiced by Jimmy Hibbert).

Uby the French chef has a wonderful kitchen where he stores hundreds of features to cook up his faces.  There are eyes and ears in cupboards, noses in the refrigerator, mouths in the freezer and hats under the sink.  With the help of your imagination Uby flies about mixing features into his bowl to create the craziest and funniest faces you can devise.

The Philips Freeland Studio in Dorking (UK) was next to the ADS department in Redhill (UK) a very talented group of people who did amazing things on CD-i. In Dorking, Philips developed the excellent conversion of The 7th Guest. The same team worked before on titles like Face Kitchen but also on the 'spitting image' title "Creature your own Caricature" on CD-i.
