When Philips launched CD-i in USA, all titles started with 69x as a catalogue number. In 1992, when CD-i was released in Europe, the first batch of titles were carrying the same catalogue numbers. After the first batch Philips Media set up their own catalogue system and all titles were printed with this 81x style of catalogue numbers. I've never seen an overview which titles were originally released with a 69x catalogue number, but the launch line-up in USA might be a good start. CD-i member Dizzy: "I've noticed that the 7-digit serials that start 690* and 699* (MINUS the 310* at the top) seem to be USA re-releases into Europe." - So which CD-i releases in Europe actually have a (second) 69x catalogue number? CD-i member Dizzy found it on the following CD-i titles:
- Dark Castle (catalogue number 690026-2 in Europe)
- Defender of the Crown (catalogue number 699069-2 in Europe)
- Alice in Wonderland (catalogue number 690065-2 in Europe)
- Palm Springs Open (catalogue number 699013-2 in Europe)
