The GAMGATOR2000's adapter (9 pins) is an early Sega-2-CD-i adapter effort from 2002

In 2002, CD-i member GAMGATOR2000 was very active in selling various CD-i stuff and many of us have bougth some final CD-i stock from him. In 2002, he offered his CD-i Gamepad Adapter. It is different from Paul Hackmann's Gamepad Adapter, as this was a 15 pin design (based on PC gamepads), this one is a 9pin mini DIN connector, allowing you to connect Sega Mega Drive / Genesis Gamepads.
On Worthpoint, there is still some small description of it: CD-i member GAMGATOR2000: "GAMGATOR2000 Global CDI'ER Since 1999 Proudly presents . . . The SEGA GENESIS to PHILIPS CD-i Gamepad Adapter. The CD-i Gamepad Adapter is a cable designed to connect a Sega Genesis gamepad to a CD-Interactive (CD-i) player. The cable handles conversion of the data from the gamepad to a format understood by the CD-i player.

With the CD-i Gamepad Adapter, you can enjoy CD-i gaming with the controller of your choice. This SEGA Genesis to CD-i Adapter has been tested and works with the following SEGA Genesis Gamepads: Included SEGA Genesis gamepad, model# MK-1470 SEGA Genesis gamepad, model# 1650 Pioneer LASERACTIVE gamepad, model# CPD-S1 INTERACT SGPropad, model# CN-434A INTERACT Arcade Pro, model# CN-446 based on our testing, all aftermarket gamepads work with the CD-i Adapter!"

Who still has an original GAMGATOR2000 CD-i Gamepad Adapter?

[Thanks, Camil Castillo, Retrostuff, Gamgator2000]
