Videotronic developed a CRT touchscreen with built-in CD-i 470 player to create a kiosk system for retail, a nice way to lock away the hardware and have the touchscreen as input device for consumers to look up info about certain products. We've shown it before on Interactive Dreams. But what is interesting here is that the CD-i 470 is a modified version, the front panel of the CD-i player has three extra buttons on which you can change the TV settings, including brightness, contrast and volume. I'm not sure how they did it and why they did it this way, but at least all control options are on 1 place and locked behind the Videotronic panel.
